Over the years, I have worked with many companies around the United States, and even some from around the world! It is what I love to do. As far back as I can remember I have always dreamed about being a business owner and real estate investor. When I came home from Afghanistan in 2013 I knew that I was going to be starting my own company one way or another. I ended up getting my real estate license and after a few months of having my real estate license, I noticed the need for these clients that were growing their families and moving on from renting a home to investing in their American dream.
January 2014 I started my moving company that put veterans back into the workforce, that company went on to becoming voted the best moving company in two states, and then went on to be selected as
“The Best Small Business Of The Year in 2019!”
What a lot of people don’t know is that while I was running this business and growing this company I had a beautiful Baby Girl and my Girlfriend who was managing all the marketing for the moving company stayed home for several months to raise our child. When we finally decided that selling the company would be a good idea, so that I could continue coaching other companies, she began creating an online clothing boutique.
(Beautiful Blessing Boutique)
Michelle was extremely passionate about this business for several reasons but one being that it meant she could spend more time picking out the most ridiculously cute outfits for our baby girl, Brooklyn.
We’ve worked together on several of the businesses I’ve started over the years, but this project I haven’t had as much as an influence as some would think! She has built this on her own, and it is incredible to watch. Almost as fun to watch as when our daughter opens up a new outfit she gets to model off!
From time to time I do consult on the direction to take her business but the truth is, parents everywhere love what she is doing! She gets over 750,000 views a month alone from Pinterest, and at the time of writing this she has received over 4000+ Reviews! With 94% of her customers rating their experience 100% satisfactory!
At Grunts Move Junk we had one of the highest custom ratings in the industry too. I learned this lesson early on in business. If you do what is right for your customers, they will open doors you could only dream of.
So here are three ways that we have built a brand that puts customers first:
1. Deliver More Value! (It’s not about the price of the service or the product, it is about the value and experience the customer receives) Think of a few ways you can increase the value to your customers.
2. Referrals – Referrals are the best form of lead generation. In both my company and Michelle’s business we always focused on getting referrals from our customers. If our customers had an amazing experience we want them to tell their friends about it! We use email follow up to convert them into life long customers… I’ve attached a link below that will give you the blueprint to grow your list!
Learn how to grow your email referral list in just 10 minutes a day for 6 days!
3. Give customers what they want! – Michelle hand selects each one of the outfits that she puts in her store. The special way she selects these items comes from a skill that can not be taught. A mother’s intuition, however, many of the outfits we still need to run through our own in house testing facility (our daughter) to measure the level of joy the outfit brings.
Do you have a birthday party coming up, or a holiday you are looking for the perfect gift for your child or a friends child.
